Sleepless-Liminal Echo
Transdisciplinary performance with electronic music, dance and digital art

“Sleepless-Liminal Echo” is a transdisciplinary performance that combines electronic music, dance, and digital art. Developed between 2023 and 2024 and presented in June 2024, the work explores the liminal states between sleep and wakefulness, reality and dream.
As project manager, composer, musician, choreographer and dancer, Boerni was responsible for the artistic implementation.
In close collaboration with the collective and creative agency TRUEB and Lisa Hofstätter, an immersive atmosphere was created in which sound, light and movement combined to form a complete experience.

Between January and June 2025, Boerni was a member of the music and theater collective Caravan of Luv at the Vienna Festival. The project was directed by Elia Rediger and presented at the Vienna Festival under the artistic direction of Milo Rau, with Herwig Zamernik, aka Fuzzman, as artistic director. Since then, the collective has toured throughout Europe, including performances at the Leipzig Opera during the Euroscene Festival , in Prague, and with additional stops in Rijeka. During this collaboration, Boerni performed several solo passages and a song of her own, including at the Funkhaus. She also provided backing vocals for Faber at the Vienna Festival and for Bonaparte in Leipzig.
